I'm doing shocks/struts, springs, and a few minor things to the 02. Do I need one?

Anytime you replace any suspension components you should get an alignment.

AutoZone, for one of the few reasons I ever use them, does a lifetime alignment deal for like $30 more than a regular alignment. Plus they give you the printout of your pre service and afterwards, or if you want specific settings.

But yeah, any suspension goodies get it aligned

Because you have probably had an alignment in the past with the current set of parts, any new parts put things back to factory new locations or just a different location all together. New tires? get alignment, the tread is not worn and thicker and since the last set of tires you could easily have hit a curb or pot hole or something to just tweak it a little bit.

Any new parts are different and not collapsed. Get the alignment, it makes the new parts more fun.

crap firestone* not AutoZone. Funny cause I have each like a half mile apart and told a friend of mine to get me from AutoZone since my car was getting worked on- but meant firestone.

when your tires look like this

although you should always get an alinement after you replace any suspension components i would wait awhile until you start seeing the tread wear on the tires but that's just my 0.02
